NATP annual award winners: Chapter Person of the Year, Chapter of the Year, Tax Professional of the Year

Each year, we ask our members to vote for fellow members who are deserving of extra recognition. We typically present three awards at our annual National Conference, but much like the rest of 2020, we’re doing things a little differently this year and have announced the winners at our TaxCon event! Congratulations to this year’s winners, and also congratulations to all for another successful tax season.

Chapter of the Year

This year’s winning chapter always does a great job and is really in a class all by itself in the amount of education offered – last year they held 47 events! Their member satisfaction score is a lofty 3.9 and they are a top performer in almost every category in their size category, including communications, which is what put them over the top this year, scoring a perfect 100. This is a well-deserved win for a chapter that does an exceptional job, year after year. Congratulations to New York, this year’s Chapter of the Year.  

Chapter Person of the Year

This year’s winner is continually volunteering for her chapter, from working the chapter booth at NATP events to hosting an EA study group in her office. She also provides support to her community by offering reduced rates to low income taxpayers and by looking out for animal friends by volunteering at the humane society.  

For all her work this year and in previous years, we’d like to recognize Pam Condra from the Texas chapter as our Chapter Person of the Year.

Tax Professional of the Year

This year’s recipient has been a member of NATP for 18 years and is a very active participant in the Georgia Chapter, currently serving as the Education Chairperson. She is very involved in her community, having sponsored several donation drives at her office for hurricane relief, homeless shelters and shelters for battered women.

She supports The Ronald McDonald House by volunteering to provide meals to the residents and donating needed items. She has also been involved with her local American Cancer Society’s annual event, raising nearly $30,000 over the past 10 years.
