In this post, we will delve into the initiatives planned for 2023-2024 and 2025-2028 under this fourth phase.
2023-2024 initiatives

2025-2028 initiatives

- The IRS will retire outdated business and individual master files, migrating systems and data to modern solutions. This initiative will improve data management and enable more efficient access to information.
- Provide near-real-time taxpayer service data

- Develop a “Taxpayer 360°” holistic view
- The IRS will deliver data to support a “Taxpayer 360°” holistic view based on business needs and prioritization established during the development of taxpayer service tools. This comprehensive perspective will enable the agency to better understand taxpayer behavior and tailor services accordingly.
