We’re excited to introduce our director of tax content and government relations, Rhonda Collins! Rhonda joins the NATP team with a diverse professional background of over 25 years in the industry, including positions with “The Big 4,” a nationally recognized healthcare system and most recently a Fortune 500 company specializing in online tax and accounting software services.
Collins is originally from Ohio and graduated from Franklin University in Columbus. She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in business administration. She currently lives in Pennsylvania with her four “fur children,” Remi, Mocha, Olivia and Ariel.
In her position, Rhonda has three objectives for which she is responsible: content, talent and standards. These responsibilities include NATP’s publications, NATP’s instructors, writers and speakers, where she will continue to ensure NATP’s high standards of excellence.
Collins has her EA designation, is a licensed CPA in four states, and is an NTPI fellow, which means she is highly qualified to interpret tax law and help NATP members apply the tax law to their clients’ situations. Her favorite part of tax law is individual and business law, including non-profit.
In her free time, she enjoys activities like paddle boarding, kayaking, cycling, gardening and traveling. She volunteers with VITA – Volunteer IRS Tax Assistance, and a local animal rescue.
Please join us in welcoming her to the team!
