Adams owns Rotation Management Corp., a tax preparation and accounting business located in Des Moines, Iowa. He enjoys consulting with business owners on using QuickBooks for their bookkeeping and teaching tax classes. In his spare time, Adams enjoys biking, motorcycling and hiking in the national parks.
Randall Andreozzi, Esq.
Andreozzi’s legal career has focused on resolution of complex tax controversy matters. He spent 16 years at the IRS Office of Chief Counsel, where he litigated a variety of complex cases establishing important precedents in numerous areas. Now in private practice, he focuses on complex tax litigation and tax controversy resolution. He has published numerous articles on taxation, and frequently lectures on a number of current and developing tax issues.
Jeremy Babener, JD, Tax LLM
Babener is a tax lawyer and specialist in settlement strategies for personal injury plaintiffs and lawyers. He writes on allocation and deferral strategies for Bloomberg, Forbes and the ABA, and speaks for trial lawyer associations and law schools. He has advised parties on all sides on many types of transactions, including CPA firms working to specialize in advising plaintiff firms.
Kelly Bender, EA
Bender leads a multi-site office, which has grown both organically and through multiple successful acquisitions. She has taken the traditional sole practitioner tax office model and created a firm that allows for a broad range of services to be offered to a high number of clients, while also maintaining a work-life balance for herself and her staff. She focuses on systems and processes as well as utilizing current technology to maximize profits and create a highly focused, successful team.
Joy Black, CPA
After spending almost 10 years as a Special Agent with Criminal Investigation Division (CID) of the IRS, Black left in 2000 and eventually opened her sole practitioner full-service CPA firm, In The Black Accounting Services, in the Nashville, Tenn, area in 2003.In addition to her vast knowledge of exactly how CID conducts its investigations, gathers evidence and against whom this evidence can be used, her close working relationship with cooperating revenue agents and revenue officers, provided unique first-hand experience of exactly how the civil divisions of IRS truly work. More importantly, this knowledge provided her with unique experience of how easily return preparers can unknowingly become entangled in a criminal investigation while simply trying to represent their clients.
Diana Crawford, CPA
Crawford is a managing partner of Crawford, Merritt & Company, a firm in the Atlanta area that serves unique businesses with unique challenges. Crawford has 30 years’ experience in bookkeeping, tax, government auditing and fraud investigations. She has authored and delivered education/certification courses on QuickBooks® and Intuit ProConnect™ ProSeries® for Intuit, the North Carolina Association of CPAs, the Georgia Society of CPAs, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the U.S. Department of Labor.
Nicole M. DeRosa, CPA, MAcc
Nicole M. DeRosa is a senior tax manager with Wiss in Florham Park, N.J., and has more than 15 years of public accounting experience, specializing in taxation for closely held businesses and individuals. In addition to working with clients in an array of industries, she was also an adjunct professor in New Jersey where she taught tax accounting for individuals for four years.
DeRosa is a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants and is active on the Content Advisory Board and Federal Taxation Interest Group. She is currently a member of the board of trustees. In 2019 she was awarded the “Women to Watch” Ovation Award, which applauds the growth and success of female members for their leadership, potential, contributions and commitment to fostering the success of their colleagues. In 2022 she was awarded the “Impact” Ovation Award, which recognizes those who exhibit exemplary efforts and stellar achievement in advancing the interests and needs of New Jersey’s accounting profession through active engagement, leadership and advocacy. DeRosa was also named to the 2022 edition of the NJ BIZ Power 50 List for the third year in a row. This list accounts for the most influential men and women in the accounting profession who help keep the state’s business on track. In her spare time, DeRosa enjoys staying active at the gym, volunteering at the local animal shelter and is active in various charitable organizations, such as St. Jude.
DeRosa is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, with degrees in Accountancy and a Master of Science in Accountancy.

Fleming’s state tax knowledge is well-rounded, and he has helped thousands of companies of all sizes in all industries. He is especially well-known for his work in the e-commerce industry and is the founder of Sales Tax and More. Kathryn Morgan, EA, USTCP
Morgan recently retired after 25 years with H&R Block and started her own practice, Puzzled By Taxes, LLC. Her prior careers as a USAF military police officer and as a police communications officer for the Bossier City Police give her a wide variety of experience that translates into tax issues.
Eli Noff, Esq., CPA

Erik Oliver
Oliver holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Accounting from Westminster College. Prior to joining Cost Segregation Authority, Erik was an operations manager for a multi-million-dollar landscaping and design firm in Long Island, NY. Since heading west and joining Cost Segregation Authority, Erik has been speaking at local, regional, and national events. Troy Patton
As a partner of Patton and Associates, LLC, Patton serves as partner in charge of the firm’s Valuation and Litigation practice. In addition to his CPA certification, he has obtained his Accredited Business Valuation certification from the AICPA. Patton has been designated an expert in state and local courts, and has testified in courts, arbitrations and depositions in matters involving valuation and financial issues. Jessica Smith, EA
